ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
JEREMY MCLEOD
Jeremy is the Founding Director of Breathe Architecture -an environmentally focused and materially accountable design practice based in Melbourne
Breathe instigated the Nightingale Housing movement after trialling a new model for delivering housing through the award-winning project of sustainable apartments called The Commons. Jeremy believes that architects, through collaboration, can drive real positive change in our cities.

SANDRA D’URZO
Sandra is an architect working in the humanitarian sector whose aim is to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable.
Sandra is currently a senior officer in Shelter and Settlements at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Geneva. She is the focal person for shelter risk reduction and recovery and post-disaster operations and shelter programmes across Africa and Middle East countries.
In 2018 Sandra was awarded the Facebook Community Leadership Award for PASSA (Participatory Approach for Safe Shelter Awareness) along with co-founder @jamiemok.
FINN PEDERSEN
Finn is a co-founder and director of Iredale Pedersen Hook Architects (IPH), a Perth and Melbourne-based studio with a diverse body of work throughout Australia. They practice in the fields of housing, education, health, justice and cultural buildings with a focus on direct engagement with the Indigenous peoples of Australia.
Finn is the Vice Chairperson of the Wyemando and Jimmy Pike Trusts and was co-founder of Environs Kimberley.
