“It’s not always a question of where are your ethics, but where is your humanity?” – Esther Charlesworth
On Feb. 12, Esther Charlesworth, MoDDD academic director and founder of Architects Without Frontiers, spoke at Architecture NSW’s first Tusculum Talk for 2019, which explored socially responsible architecture. The talks were inspiring and thought provoking, with an in depth discussion on how socially responsible architecture can be achieved in both commercial practice and in the community development context.
The talk featured presentations and a panel discussion with multi-award-winning architects David Kaunitz of Kaunitz Yeung Architecture and Anthony Nolan of Kennedy Associates and was moderated by Dr Sam Spurr, associate professor of Architecture at the University of Newcastle.
