PhD candidate at Monash University
‘Is children’s participation in the design and ongoing governance of public space and infrastructure the key to designing resilient cities? This is the question I started exploring in MODDD and will now pursue in greater depth through a PhD at Monash University.’
Robyn, a 2017 MODDD graduate, was recently granted a scholarship to study a PhD at Monash University in the ‘Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments’ Program (RISE), running out of the Monash Sustainable Development Institute. The RISE program aims to improve human, environmental and ecological health in informal settlements in the developing world through a water sensitive cities approach in 24 settlements in Indonesia and Fiji.
